Frequently asked
Does it work with my PMS?
If your property management system can print a registration card, LobbyInk works with it. You simply choose the LobbyInk Tablet printer instead of your paper printer. Nothing in your PMS has to change.
Which tablets can I use?
Any iPad, iPhone or Android tablet with a web browser. Nothing to install from an app store: the tablet opens LobbyInk from the front desk computer over your hotel Wi-Fi.
Where are the signed cards stored?
On your front desk computer, encrypted, plus an automatic backup copy on your USB drive or NAS if you set one up. Guest cards and photos never go to the internet or to us.
What if the internet goes down?
LobbyInk keeps working. The computer and tablet talk over your own Wi-Fi, so check-ins don't depend on the internet.
What happens to old cards if I update or reinstall?
They stay. Updates and reinstalls never touch your cards. If you replace the computer, you restore them from your backup using your recovery key.
Can I still print paper copies?
Yes. Print one card, or every card for a range of check-out dates in one go, on your normal office printer.
What do I need?
A Windows 10 or 11 computer at the front desk, a tablet on the same Wi-Fi, and about 10 minutes for setup.
